Huronia Museum
Located in beautiful Little Lake Park, in the core of Midland, Huronia Museum boasts a robust collection, including over one million artifacts ranging from photographs to native archaeology.
Highlights include the “pre-contact” Huron/Ouendat village replica, including a lookout tower, wigwam and a full-size longhouse; the largest collection of Group of Seven paintings north of the McMichael Art Gallery; and an extensive exhibit of the great vessels that have travelled Georgian Bay.
For almost 70 years, the Huronia Museum has been home to the history of this region and its people.
